PILOT INFORMATION

AIRCREW & PILOT FACILITIES

Pilots and aircrew are welcomed at Aviation Park Group, with full use of our Corporate & VIP lounge and kitchen with complementary snacks and refreshments. Handling customers have full use of the executive lounge. Aircrew have access to a dedicated Crew Room, with a PC and separate ‘Quiet Room’ with reclining chairs and black out blinds for those looking to relax and unwind pre or post departure. Our team are also on hand to assist with any other needs, including a discounted day rate at local hotels, restaurant recommendations and access to our on-site Gym.

CLEARANCE FORMS

All flights arriving into Hawarden from outside the UK require a General Aviation Report (GAR) to be submitted a minimum of 24 hours before the flight. Please send your completed GAR to our ops team on ops@aviationparkgroup.co.uk. All pilots, crew and passengers will be required to show ID on arrival and departure

FUEL

Avgas and Jet A1 are available for home-based and visiting aircraft, with preferential rates for frequent users. We are also proud to supply Sustainable Aviation Fuel – SAF gives an impressive reduction of up to 80% in carbon emissions over the lifecycle of the fuel compared to traditional jet fuel it replaces.

APRON PARKING & HANGARAGE

We can facilitate apron parking of most aircraft, which is free of charge for the first 2 hours. For large aircraft, prior agreement is necessary. Long and short-term aircraft hangarage is available at competitive prices, please contact us up-to-date information on pricing and availability.

HOME BASE OPERATORS

We provide a friendly service to home base operators at Aviation Park. Our highly experienced ground handling team are on hand to assist you in any way they can. Facilities include use of an office including PC, printer and free WIFI. We also have space to relax with a HD television and sofa. A recently refurbished kitchen including microwave and tea/coffee is also available for use.

IMPORTANT: The way you submit your information about GA flights to Border Force is changing.

From Saturday 6th April Border Force will not accept emailed or manual GAR submissions. From this date, information about the flight and those on board must be submitted online.

The following submission methods can be used:

  • The Government’s free to use sGAR webservice;
  • Via approved third-party applications*;
  • Using an approved direct connection to Home Office systems.
